Magda Kondaridze

Ph.D. Candidate in Economics

Washington State University

Hello!

I'm Magda, a Ph.D. candidate in economics at Washington State University, on track to graduate in May 2024. My academic interests are applied microeconomics and econometrics, focusing on international trade and consumer demand. My dissertation explores the gravity model of international trade on agricultural commodities using various methods. However, my background also includes research on consumer demand, covering areas such as shifting food preferences and tobacco consumption.

While at WSU, I've had the privilege of serving as an instructor for undergraduate and online MBA courses. I've taught various courses, including Fundamentals of Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics without Calculus, Global Capitalism Today, and Managerial Economics.

My passion lies in the world of numbers, visualizing complex data, unraveling the intricacies of causes and effects, and understanding WHYs and HOWs of life and our everyday decisions.

Thank you, and I'm excited about the prospect of collaborating with you.
